OneGov AI is an independent research tool that answers plain-language questions about Zimbabwe's Constitution, Acts of Parliament, statutory instruments, general notices, Government Gazettes and national policies. Every answer cites the exact sections of the gazetted texts it relies on, so you can verify the source yourself.
Zimbabwe's laws are public documents, but in practice they are hard to navigate: they are spread across many gazettes, amendments and portals, and written in language that assumes legal training. OneGov AI brings those documents together in one place and lets anyone, from students and journalists to business owners and legal practitioners, ask a question and get a sourced answer in seconds.
OneGov AI is built and run by Kudzai Zhuwaki, a software developer based in Zimbabwe. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Government of Zimbabwe or any of its agencies.
The legal texts behind OneGov AI come from publicly available sources: Veritas Zimbabwe, the Judicial Service Commission gazette portal, and Laws.Africa, whose content is published under open licences. We are grateful to these organisations for keeping Zimbabwe's laws and gazetted documents freely accessible.
